Howdy folks!
I have been keeping tabs on how the brickwork has been progressing and here are some photos from the month of December. The walls are almost entirely up.

The wall right hand side wall is up.
This is the door from the garage leading into the side alley on the right hand side of the house.
Sunday 5th December 2010
The brickwork to the front of the house is up.
I'm a bit concerned that bricks with imperfections, such as this one with the hole, are being used. I'm going to have to email the site supervisor to query this.

The garage brickwork looks near completion.
This is the back of my house where the afresco area will be.
They've started to lay the internal brickwork.
Sunday 19th December 2010
More walls are up!
They've started to mark where the walls will be by laying a single row of bricks on the slab.
This is my bedroom. I will have a view of the main street.
My walk in robe, on the left, and my ensuite bathroom, on the right, are marked out with a row of bricks.
This will be the theatre room.
This is the laundry with the toilet and linen cupboard marked out.
This frame is where the sliding doors leading to the alfresco at the rear of the house will be.
It's really beginning to look like a house now! I can get a feel for the size of the place and start to plan where I'm going to put furniture etc. I think they'll probably get most of the brickwork completed before the Christmas and New Year break.
