Follow my adventures as I enter the world of home ownership
and face the challenges of building my house.
The site looks a lot neater so it looks like they're going to be doing all the brickwork before the holiday break.

I drove out to the lot today and saw this metal makeshift shed set up on the rear of the property. I amused myself thinking that this is it. This is the house I paid for. It's 'completed'. A tiny dwelling with a large garden.

I sat in the car, in the middle of the street, jumping up and down in my seat and squealing in disbelief. Then as I rounded the corner to the rear of the block, I started tearing up. Tears of excitement, joy and relief. Relief that all the heartache and frustration I've gone through over the past year is finally materialising into a physical form.
